I have a bunch of old home movies on VHS Video that I want to transfer on to DVD. I have a DVD recorder, but don't know where to start! I tried playing the video and hitting record on the DVD recorder, but the Video is on AV4 and the DVD could only record AV1,2 & 3 and I do not know how to change this! I've done research and it says to link the video player to the DVD recorder, but again I do not know how! Any help would be much appreciated!

  1. If you have given the models of the electronic devices, it would have been easy to help you.  It seems, you have an idea of connecting.  Connect VHS player to video in and audio in of your television and connect dvd recorder to audio out and video out of television.  Start playing and just start recording.  It should burn i believe.  If it doesn't, you may try, directly plugging in the wires of vhs player to dvd recorder (to the inputs of dvd recorder), this should work.  Please give the models and I will try to help you.

  2. You should be able to do it scart to scart. Link the two together try it.
