How do I transfer files from my computer to my blackberry pearl?

I have a dell computer and I just recently got a blackberry and I followed the instructions for transferring files (specifically music files) but when I connect my BB (the computer registers that it is connected) when i open the media manager it says there is no device connected and to connect the device in order to view its contents. What do I do?

you need usb driver for your blackberry

make sure you have right version software for you blackberry

every model has deferent software

uninstall device manager and install it again

and try again

other wise call tech support for your carrier
