I recently bought a new computer and want to transfer some of my old files off my old pc, about 11 GB of music and maybe another 10 or so GB for other file. What kind of Flash drive do I need? Is it easy? Would I need like a 10 GB flash drive or more or less?

  1. you can buy one of those transfer cords at best buy that transfers ALL the files and programs from one computer to another.

if not..you can get a hard drive and put all your stuff in there. then transfer it into your new computer. this way..you will still need to re-install all your previous programs

    hope i helped!

  2. If you have a wireless router at your location, set-up up a network and share the folders you have the files you want to transfer.  It should just take a few minutes to set up.

If not but a transfer cord (I would recommend EBAY) there cheap

The best thing to do is to store files in an external hard drive.  If your computer crashes and you need to rebuild you will always have your files available.

  3. The best option to solve this problem and future problems is to buy a portable hard drive which is more that 80GB which will cost you under 70 pounds. This is not only a solution for your current roblem but for future problems which involve large amounts of data needed to be transfered.
