  1. but it on cd.  or copy on to usb key

or you can zip it in to multiple files of 1.4mb... copy it on floppy disk then restore it.

  2. Burn them on to a CD?

  3. Burn them onto a CD and walk the CD over to the Win98 machine.

That assumes that you have a CD drive in the Win 98 machine.

Thumb drives, or other USB storage solutions, won't work unless you have loaded a driver for it onto the Win 98 machine.

If you are really desperate, you can remove the hard drive from the Win 98 machine, install it as a slave in the other machine.  Move the driver onto the win 98 hard drive.  Then remove the hard drive and reinstall it in the Win 98 machine.

  4. Well I WAS going to suggest a crossover CAT-5 cable, but since the driver is for your ethernet card you'll have to burn it to a disc or put it on a flash drive.
