How do I transfer my father's handgun into my name?

My father passed away a few years ago and recently my mom told me that she found his old revolver. What steps do I need to take to transfer it into my name in Missouri.

you dont need to do anything, its yours. missouri doesnt require registration. it isnt a car, its more like you inherited a shovel.

If you are over 21 you need do nothing unless you want to get a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

You don't need to do anything. If no one inherited it by a will, it goes to your mom, and if she's just giving it to you, you can take it with no problem. There's no registration system in Missouri.
