How do I transfer my songs from my PC to my Mac?

I have all of my music stored on an external hard drive connected to my Windows Vista PC, and just bought a MacBook Pro. I also have a 30GB iPod. I have much more than 30GB of music, however, and as such I have to form an "iPod Playlist". The only songs I want on my Mac are the ones on my iPod playlist. What would be the best way to do this?

go to apple.com and they should have a tutorial on it and if they don't all i can say is goggle it

You can try to burn them on cd's and then put them on your computer, if that doesn't work then u can try to install the ipod software and then connect your ipod, it should automatically put the playlist there.
