I have a temperature of 96.8 degrees, which is a low temperature, though most fevers are a high temperature, like 100 or so. How should I go about treating a temperature that's too low?

  1. 96.8 is not a low temperature and you don't need to "treat" it.  A normal range is what is normal for the vast majority, that means that there will be numbers lower or higher that are still ok

  2. nothing your healthy

  3. You don't have to do anything.  My normal temp is around 97.  It is just what is normal for me.  Unless a doctor tells you otherwise, I would not worry...

  4. my temp gets low when I feel bad but unless you feel sick otherwise don't do anything about it.  It's fine

  5. Most of my family have a low body temperature.  We don't treat it, because we're not ill.

If you're concerned, or this is something new, speak with a doctor.
