How do I treat curling iron burns?

My hairdresser made the iron burn the nape of my neck and she did not even say she was sorry when she saw me flinch.

The best way to treat a burn, I have found, is to put ice on it right away and keep it on there as long as you possibly can.

You may want to wrap the ice in a facecloth so it's not too cold.
