Question:

How do I treat the ganglion cyst on the back of my wrist?

It's relatively smaller than the pictures I've seen, but I'm afraid of how large it may get. I have to take a lot of notes and type a lot, I also play a lot of tennis. I have no idea how I can help it, even though it's supposedly common. Can anyone give me some tips on what to do to make it smaller or less painful?

  1. I had one on the end of my pinkie and I had to have it removed!

  2. very small ganglion does not restrict your wrist movement.. mild discomfort only present. so, you may leave that without any treatment and treat your pain with local hydro cortisone infiltration.. when the ganglion become big, pain is severe, more restriction of movement and cosmetic appearance is not good, then you will surgically excise the ganglion.. take care..

  3. Either you need to go to the doctor and have it removed or whack it really hard with something like a book. I'm not joking....

  4. I bet you'll need to have it removed...set up an appointment
