How do I turn DVDs into a format that I can upload onto my i-touch?

You need a file converter. You need to make your movies .mp4 files in order to play them on your iPod Touch.

If you have a MAC, then I suggest the program called Handbrake (http://www.handbrake.com). Pop the DVD in, select "iPod High (or Low) Quality" from the right hand menu and click "Start". You're done.

If you have a PC (also works for Mac), you can go to http://www.dvdtoitunes.net and download the program there.

On both cases, your new .mp4 file will be saved to the computer.

To add it to iTunes,

Step 1: Open iTunes.

Step 2: Click on "File > Add to Library"

Step 3: Find the .mp4 file with your movie on it.

Step 4: Double click it.

Step 5: Once the movie appears on your iTunes (on the "Movies" section) you can click the "Sync" button if it's on Auto-Sync or you can click and drag the movie on to your iPod if it's on manual sync.
