How do I turn my Vauxhall Tigra passenger airbag off?

Hi I have a new tigra, previously I had an Audi A3 which I was able to turn the passenger airbag off in so I kow it can be done but I just dont know where to find the ?switch. Can anyone help? It's because I am carrying a child in the passneger seat and obviously there is no back seat in this car. I spoke to the dealership and the unhelpful lady there told me no airbags can be turned off in any car, yet I managed to in my 2 previous older cars one of which was a Vauxhall car! Please help! Thanks.

  1. This question seems to be cropping up constantly.

If you would like to read the car's handbook, it will tell you, there is usuallly a method such as :

    1. Turning the key in a keyhole (extra one)

    2. A turn switch or button nearby

The Garage may know, the local vauxhall one, it only takes a telephone call.

    Good Luck-

  2. Maybe there's a keyhole on the dash, similar to a 206.

  3. Do you not have a handbook?

  4. I cant remember off the top of my head which fuse it is but the Tigra club will probably be able to tell you.  www.thetigraclub.com
