How do I turn of the button clicks for Palm Centro?

Question

The little chime that you hear when the phone's volume is on and you use the direction pad. How do I turn those chimes off? No option I can find in the preferences/sound options. Thanks

It's there. You just have to look harder.

Go to Prefs > Sounds & Alerts > Tap on Ring Tones (next to the triangle) to bring down a drop down list > select System > Tap on 2 next to System Volume and select Off
