How do I turn the autoplay dialog back on in WinXP?

I don't know what I did, but I cant get WinXP to being up the dialog box that asks what I want to do with the media it detected. I want to get windows to import my pictures. I can access my files under my computer, but I want to put them in a folder and automatically rename them. When I insert the media, the only thing that happens is I am able to access it under My Computer.
