How do I turn three pics into one pic?

I have three pictures that I would like to merge into one picture. What program would allow me to do this and how would I do it? Thanks for any help.

you could just use Paint.  Go to start, accesories, and paint is on the list.  Copy the three pictures next to eachother and save it.  It will save as one pic.
