I'm trying to show someone an HTML font code but I can't type the code in without the site thinking I'm trying to use it.

  1. if i'm not mistaken, the message board should have some features to disable the code. try looking for it. why dont u just give the w3schools website to that person? i believe it helps a lot. hehe... or else, get the person's msn, ym or just invite him/her to a chatroom. simple!

  2. [code]your code[/code]

  3. If the message board's editor does not have a CODE Icon to put HTML code without it being activated on, try any of these methods to see which works for you:

[code]Your font code here[/code] This is BBCode used for forums.

Or if you are entering it inside a textarea box, use the character entity for the '<' symbol:

    & lt; (Without space) = <

Then on all your font code, use it for all the opening tags.

  4. the "forum" should have a "code" tag that you can use to surround your code, so it displays correctly.
