How do I type the S over another S in legal documents on a standard computer keyboard?

In certain legal documents there is a double SS that are printed one on top of the other, and I would like to know what keyboard code I use to make that happen. Thanks!

  1. If this is what you're talking about "§", then it's called a Section Sign, and it can be inserted by holding down the Alt button, pressing "0167" on your num pad, then releasing Alt.
