If I type 'zu' or 'ji' I can only get ず and じ. I'm using Windows XP.

  1. Du= づ

    Di=ぢ

  2. Are you sure you're not trying to get them in katakana?

    If so, you need to to have Japanese on your system and the Language toolbar showing at the top (I THINK IME needs enabling, but I can't remember). There's a radio bar on the Lanugage bar where you can choose the input method (full/half-widthhiragana, full/half-width katakana and kanji).

    Choose the system you need and type di or du for katakana.... but otherwise it's nonsense.

    I've never seen 'tsu' and 'chi' hiragana with 'speech-marks' (I forgot their name now) or heard them!

  3. You type the characters づ And ぢ by hitting du for づ and di for  ÃƒÂ£Ã‚Â¢. I assume that since you're using the global ime as the input method for typing.
