How do I un-program my universal remote?

I have a new Comcast universal remote. It's like all other remotes as far as finding the codes, etc.

The problem is, I programmed my VCR under AUX, and now I want to take it off. It's annoying to have the VCR cut on with the TV and Cable.

So how do I un-program it?

re-program the aux setting but instead of using the vcr code number just put in a random number or 000
