How do I unclog a macerator toilet?

I have an upflush toilet system in my basement and my friend went #2 and used too much toilet paper. My macerator box I placed behind the wall for cosmetics, so it is not very easy to get to....can I use drano or something on this system?

if the macerator on your toilet system cannot devour the excriment, drano or chemicals will be no use... sounds like you have a larger problem than your friends #2 ..... unfortunately the box will have to be opened and inspected for the back up - your pump might be failing or has gone bad - all in all, no way around opening and inspecting the inner components, good luck
