How do I unclog a sink naturally without the use of chemicals?

Place a folded towel under the pipes in the cabinet and set a trash can or bucket on top of the towel and under the pipes. This will catch water from the pea trap removal. Remove the pea trap (the u shaped section of piping under the sink) and hose it out outside. While it is off, you can check the pipe leading from the sink down to the pea trap by looking down the sink. Grab yourself a tooth brush and clean the pipe walls. Look at the pipe leading into the wall and clear it of any debris, if it is clogged, grab a shop vac and seal a towel around the pipe as well as your hand and suck all the junk out. If you use anything to push it it could very easily force it further into the wall which will cost a lot of money to have a plumber repair. Once everything is cleaned out, grab your plumbers tape and wrap some around the threads where you took the pea trap off. If you don't it will leak. Then replace the pea trap and run a bit of water down the drain. It should be just fine. If you start pouring chemical down the drain, it will get trapped in the pea trap and become caustic and could cause skin burns when you finally remove the pea trap. Once a month, pour about 1/2 cup baking soda followed by 2 cups very hot or boiling white vinegar down the drain. This will help clear debris before it causes a buildup and won't hurt the pipes.
