My bathtub is clogged with something and I think it's hair. I'm not sure what else it could be. I live in an apt and the bathtub seems somewhat complicated. It has some sort of weird netting at the bottom and it seems like the water gets split like 2 or 3 different ways. It doesn't just go down STRAIGHT. I tried this tool called zip it which you stick down drains and it pulls out hair but there's no way to get it into the openings in the bathtub. It just won't go all the way in. I know how to use the tool because I used it on my sink and it worked.
What do I do? What products can I use? I don't know what kind of piping this apartment has so what products would be ok with that? I live in a house that has a couple apartments, built in the 1940s, if that helps at all.
During a 15 minute shower, water accumulates almost a foot in the bathtub. Please help. I don't want to call the landlord.
