  1. Buy 2 big bottles of Javel (Bleach) and pour them into the bowl.  Let it sit there for 24 hours.  Do not use the toilet during this time.  (Go to a neighbour's?).  After 24 hours, flush the toilet.  Wait for it to refill completely and flush again.  You should not only have the cleanest toilet around, but the clog should be gone as well, with no scratching like with the snake and no 90$ plumber bill either.  Bleach is about a buck or two per bottle and is completely safe on all pipes.

  2. They have these really cool drain openers now that are charged with compressed air and it just blows the clog free without damaging the pipes, they have them at Home Depot.

  3. nothing beats this tool for a local stoppage:

if your problem occurs with some frequency, the tool is a cheap investment.

be sure to check the water level in the tank for proper height also.

  4. Absolutely go with Paul P's answer.

  5. Well first of all I would check that your toilet cisterns have enough water in them to perform an adequate flush. Lift off the lid of the wc cistern and check that the water level is level with the water line marker in the cistern. If it is below you will need to adjust the inlet valve to correct this. Obviously if not enough water is in the cistern the removal of waste will become problematic. A cable snake may well clear your soil pipe but as previously answered you may need to call a local plumber to remove the wc and use an industrial strength machine called a cable machine to ream out the pipes.  You might want to consider the option of high pressure water jetting or a cctv survey of your drainage system.

I will soon be adding tutorials to my website www.drmaintenance.co.uk

    so keep em peeled.

  6. You will need what is called a toilet Snake, it uncoils and can be wound into the pipes and will retrieve whatever is blocking it. Apart from that a plumber may need to be called in

  7. Laurimd your mobile homepark could be on septic system that needs pumped out.  To much rain could be the problem.  If you are not using septic tank, I would stick garden hose down inside toilet,  stuff old towels around garden hose to make seal,  and have some to turn on water,  It will take two people to do this job, one to hold hose and towels tight in toilet, and one to turn on water.  You can also buy a toilet snake at homedepot or hardware store for about $20.00. You may need to pull toilet and check for something lodged across wax ring.  I f you pull toilet buy new wax ring.  It is easy job.  I think this is what needs to be done if your on city sewer.  It is not hard job and new wax ring only cost about $4.00.
