Man I'm scared. I've only had my ipod for about a day and there's already a problem. It's a new kind of ipod nano, 4gb, the square kind. What I think happened was I pressed pause and menu quickly and, without realizing it was still loading, I plugged it into the usb, and now it's frozen, itunes won't recognize it's plugged in, etc.

  1. either press the menu and play button, or unplug it and let it go dead. it may take an hr or so though, if you can manage to hold off for that long. then plug the ipod back in and turn it on, and it should be working again. that method worked for me.

  2. i had this same problem about a week after i got my ipod classic. all u have to do is make sure it's unlocked and hold the menu and play button for about 5 secs or until u see an apple, then give it a minute and it should start working now
