How do I unload yahoo messenger?

I can't sign on so I thought I would download messenger again?

It depends if you have got a macromedia pc. My answer is for windows. You go to control panel then click on add and remove programs. Then scroll down to where you see Yahoo Messenger then click on remove. Follow the steps that may come up. Then download again.

There is really no need to uninstall the messenger if you want to download it again...just like updating software, you can simply go to the download page and restart the download and if there are any new updates it will re-write your old yahoo messenger software program.

to get rid of you have to go to your control panel, then click the 3rd button which says add or remove programs, then you go to the messenger link and press unload. then it will delete.

uninstall it... 'add or remove programmes' under control panel.

If this problem has happened recently, Yahoo servers have been down, and everyone has had this problem.
