  1. Harbor Freight sell "wheel dolleys" that you lower the front wheels onto and you can push the front end in any direction, even sideways.

Or you can take the pink slip into the dealer and they will make you a key

for about 20 bucks using you VIN number.

    Good Luck!

  2. i have used  a jack to manipulate cars into position in that situation. sure it takes effort but it does work.

  3. you gotta have the key. if you want to move it a short distance, use a floor jack, raise the front wheels off the ground, have someone push and you steer with the floor jack ( you need a floor jack with wheels of course, like they have in a tire shop ).

  4. Well...I once had a Nissan 200sx, '87 maybe, can't remember.  Same problem but we broke the key in the ignition.  We actually just forced it free and I guess broke whatever made the steering wheel lock because it would never lock again.  And yes, I drove it after that without using the ignition.  We ended up taking it apart to get to what I'd describe as a smaller version of the ignition and it worked fine.  Good Luck!

  5. just pull down on one side and push up on the other it will snap the lock out of it and then you will be able to move it all the time
