How do I unsubscribe my gmail from getting emails from a group I no longer belong to?

I belonged to a Yahoo group and had the daily digest going to my Yahoo account. Then all of the sudden, it showed that I no longer belonged but YET now all of the individual postings go to my gmail account. ??? How do I unsubscribe from a group that doesn't show I'm even a member of????

Go to the group's  site, click on edit membership along the top.  In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out.  It may take a day to take effect.
