How do I update my computers drivers?

I recently purchased the game Penumbra Black Plague and it says that I need to update my drivers. Which drivers do I update and how do I do it?

(these instruction is based off XP but it should be simliar to vista hope it helps)

the best way i can think of is to right click on my computer select properties go to hardware select device manage and look to see if any of the drivers have a yellow question mark by them if not you probably dont need to update any drivers even through its telling you do

Also windows update sometimes find drivers updates
