How do I upgrade my computer??????

Question

I have an old computer that needs some serious upgrading how do I get more ram into it? It only carries about 350 megabits of ram I want more so I can play games, surf the net, I also need to be able to record songs onto it and download songs and browse where do I start?

If you dont know much about computers i would suggest getting someone else to do it. Having said that not to be mean or anything but your computer doesnt sound that good or worth the bother so I would just get a new one.

If you really want, you really need to replace everything.If you reaplace the motherboard, the RAM would not fit to the slot of the new motherboard. What you can use in your old computer is the hard drive, DVD/CD ROM,and floppy drive. Consult a local technician so that you'll know more about this.

Simply replace  mother board with update one and hard disk of 80Gb or more.

easy question

we need to know what you are running windowx 98 xp vista etc what type of motherboard it may not be able to take more memory

I purchased a new computer with dvd burner cpu Athlon x2 and 40 gig hard drive i gig of ram for $350.00 and as i could afford it i upgraded with more memory setup XP

if you don,t know more about computer, maintenance , i suggest to go to  comp, technician who is qualified for that
