How do I upload TV episodes from DVD's to Youtube on a Mac?

Question

I have a full season of a sitcom that I think Youtube viewers would enjoy. How can I upload episodes from the DVDs to Youtube using my new Mac. What is the process by which I do this. I don't have any fancy equipment. I assume I just need the disc reader on my computer.
