How do I upload already made videos to make a new video on Windows movie maker?

  1. It depends on what kind of camcorder you have.

    If it records on MiniDV tape, you need to connect your camcorder to your PC with a IEEE 1394 (Firewire) cable and select File> Capture Video in Windows Movie Maker (WMM). If it records on DVD, you put the DVD in your DVD drive and rip the video to a MPEG2 file using ripping software. You then copy the files to your hard drive or and use File> Import Into Collections in WMM. If  your camcorder records to a hard drive or SD chip, you connect your camcorder to your PC using a USB cable and the camcorder's hard drive or SD chip will appear in My Computer as another hard drive. You then copy the files to your hard drive and use File> Import Into Collections in WMM.
