  1. There's a good chance your font is in a ZIP archive. You need to save the OTF or TTF files out of each archive and place them into a folder on your computer -- make sure its someplace you can find them again. Maybe your desktop? Then either copy the font to your C:\WINDOWS\FONTS directory or do it through your control panel. Go to the control panel, choose fonts. Select FILE > INSTALL NEW FONTS and find where they are located on your hard drive. Highlight them and go!

  3. Well it depends on which format you have downloaded the fonts, mostly they come in True font. But irrespective of the font type, the simplest way to make downloaded fonts usable is to add them to your font list in the control panel.

  4. after downloading the fonts copy them and go to computer>local disk C>windows>fonts

and paste them! that's all =)

  5. as most have said, you need to unzip the file and extract them to C:WINDOWS>fonts

you can do this using compressed zipped folder

once the fonts are in that folder they will auto install

then you must restart photoshop before they will appear in the photoshop font options

but you need not drag them into photoshop in any way
