How do I upload pictures from a photo CD?

My friend gave me a photo cd, but i'm not sure how to get the pictures transferred onto my computer. And do i need any software or program to do this?

Yep, simply insert the CD, open "My computer" and select the CD drive if a folder didn't open automatically.  Then just drag and drop the images to a folder.  If you want to put the pictures on myspace or another website use a free image hosting service like http://www.imagedino.com/ or search google for "free image hosting".

It should be just a simple matter of opening the cd and dragging the images to your desktop.
