How do I upload save data from a usb flash drive to my ps3?

flash drive is a micro cruzer ps3 is a 40 gig, save data is in a folder called "game saves" I am worried will my flash drive install anything on my ps3?

here's what u need to do:

1) insert flash drive into USB slot on the PS3

2) if it is a video, go to video; if its a song go to music and if its save data for games go to games on the PS3 XMB

3) select the USB device (it will say its device name) click that and then click copy the media will  then transfer to the PS3

4) remove USB drive and your done

And NO the USB drive will not install anything on your ps3 unless u tell it to!

No your flash drive will not "install" anything on your PS3,

as for the saves. Put it in the following folders on the memory stick:

PS3/SAVEDATA/[name of folder with the PSV file in it].

make sure the folders are in all CAPS.
