How do I use BCP's to delay my period?

Hubby and I have a big, romantic weekend planned (Romantic inn, no kids) and wouldn't you know it - I will have my period. How do I delay that a week with BCP's?

If you are currently taking b/c pills, then you just skip the placebo week (4th week) and start directly with the new pack.  Then you'll skip your period and instead it will come after you're done with the new pack.

If you are not currently taking b/c pills, then it's too late to use this method, unless your special weekend is more than 2 months away.
