How do I use Cash on Delivery (COD) service?

You can have your customers pay for merchandise and postage at the time of delivery with Collect on Delivery (COD). The Post Office we’ll pick up your customers’ payment and postage for you. Your customers can conveniently pay with cash or a personal check. COD also gives you the added security of insurance coverage against loss or damage of up to $1,000. COD is not available for international mail or for mail addressed to military Post Office (APO/FPO) addresses.

A note about using COD.  

If the receiver fails to pick up his parcel and so does not pay the already agreed due amount.  That is, postage to him + parcel value,  it will then be returned to the sender.  

Before you the sender can collect your undelivered parcel,  the postage cost for both trips will need to be paid.

When the delivery comes, always give them the exact amount of cash since they just tell you to sign the paper/form and you pay, then you get your package.
