How do I use ULEAD VideoStudio 11.0?

I am trying to put a MINI DVD onto YouTube and I am having problems importing the MINI DVD into Video Studio. It shows up on the original import screen, but the Import and Stop Import buttons are not accessible. So I cant get it to the timeline to edit.....PLEASE HELP!!!!
