How do I use a battery powered 120V timer to control a 220V water pump?

Question

Currently, water pump is on 110V, but the pump will work better in 220.

Problem is, if I put the pump to 220, it can no longer be plug into the out door timer now doing the timing for it.

You can also try a 110 vac solid state relay which will be controlled by the timer, when the timer turns on the relay it switches the 220 to the pump.

You may opt to buy a step up(110 to 220) transformer.
