  1. It is very simple, insert your card, machine will ask you for your pin number, press keys, it will then ask you for the amt. you want, if it`s $20 dollars, press 2 then 0, if it`s $200, then press another 0. Watch screen for the correct amt to appear, it will ask if the amt is correct, press yes or no. Will then ask if you want a receipt, press yes. It will dispense money and return your card and give you a receipt. Basically just insert or swipe card and follow the directions on screen. There is also a cancel button if you make a mistake. You can then start over.

  2. Before you get to the machine, you need to know your four digit PIN -  Personal Identification Number. It is your secret code that allows you access to your account. Do not share it. Do not write it down.

You should also know two other things before you head to the machine: how much cash do you want and from what account: savings or checking.

There are two types of ATMs. With type 1, when you insert your debit card, the machine will keep your card for the entire transaction. For type 2 machines, you insert your card and quickly remove it. The rest of the procedure is the same for both types with only a small change in the sequence.

At some point, the machine should indicate that there is a service charge and if you want money from that machine, you'll have to answer "yes".

    1) determine what direction the magnetic strip on the card should be in when you insert it into the ATM: facing up, or down, on the left or right. The machine should have a diagram on it showing you how the card should be inserted.

    2) insert the card

    3) enter your PIN

    4) indicate which account to withdraw from

    5) either pick the amount to withdraw from the defaults or chose "other" to indicate a different amount. The values are either multiples of 10 or 20

    6) the machine will issue the money

    7) you may be given an option to get a receipt, or you may get one automatically

    8) you may be given an option to make another transaction or you may be automatically done

    9) make sure you take your money, any receipts, and your debit card

    10) make sure that the machine is done processing with your card - you don't want someone coming behind you and making another withdrawal

    11) try to put more money into your acount than you take out.

  3. Pull up

    insert card the right way

    put in PIN number

do what you need to do

    grab money & receipt

    don't forget debit card

    drive away

  4. First, make sure your debit card is really going to work at the ATM.  Some cards are only "bank cards" that only work at the bank in question.

Second, some ATMs that are not part of your bank will charge you a fee of like $2 or so.  Then your bank will also charge you another fee for using that non-bank ATM.  Double whammy.

Third, just watch the people in front of you of how they are using the machine, or pick a time when no one's there.  Most ATMs have written instruction of what to do.  It's very easy.

  5. listen trust me i was realli scared my first time too...when u slide your card in there it gives to step by step directions on what to do... i took my friend with me tha frist time i did it cuz i was so scared lol

  6. DON'T BE EMBARRASSED MONEY ALONE IS COMPLICATED.

    PULL UP

    INSERT YOUR CARD

THEN IT WILL ASK DO YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW FROM SAVINGS OR CHECKING

    CHOOSE 1 OPTION

THEN IT WILL ASK FOR YOUR PIN

THEN PUNCH IN HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW

THE WAIT FOR YOUR MONEY AND YOUR RECEIPT

THEN MAKE SURE YOUR INFO CLEAR SO NO ONE BEHIND YOU CAN GAIN ACCESS
