How do I use a downloaded .iso file?

an iso file is a file you burn to a disc or dvd... so all you have to do is burn it to use it.

You need to burn it as a cd image, not every burning software will do that. Just google 'iso burn' or something like that and some free and opensource apps will pop up

an .iso file is a cd/dvd image file I use PowerISO to use them.

#1 you can mount the image to a virtual drive and use it like on a real cd/dvd

#2 you can burn them to cd/dvd depending on the size
