  1. Its usually pretty simple. First you have to find it in My Computer, it will usually be the last alphabet letter that you see, in Windows XP. Then take whatever you want to transfer and just drop it in. Or additionally, you can just right-click on it then select "Send to" and send it to the drive. (I don't know why I didn't think of that first since its much easier if you already know the letter of the drive)

  2. DRAG AND DROP! Haha, sorry, King of the hill reference. Uhm, plug it in, Open the file containing the word document you want, open the flash drive thing, uh, window and drag and drop.

  3. Just plug it into a USB port and it will show up as a new drive e.g. D:\

  4. put the drive in a usb port.

easy way to find out what drive letter it is - click start, my computer, and look under removeable storage and remember the name and drive letter.  The name will always be the same but the drive letter can be different on different computers.

In Word,  click file , save, click the dropdown arrow on the save in box.   Click on your drive letter or name. then give file a name and click ok
