I'm writing an essay, and my teacher said to only use in-line quotations if I'm going to quote the book the essay is about. How do I do this?

  1. If you're typing it out with html, your teacher means use the <q> element which is used for short quotations (the inline content) that don’t (or rather, shouldn't) require paragraph breaks.

Otherwise, the basic way to put it is:

Keep it short, sweet, to the point. Don't let it need a new paragraph.

Check out my source I put for more info:

  2. "My teacher said, 'only do in-line quotations.'"
