How do I use blogs for SEO purposes? Specifically Blogger and Wordpress?

Question

Please break it down into simpleton language, so that I can understand. I don't know what pings and trackbacks and all that is. I have a wordpress and blogger account with the same posts up...what now, other than write, of course.

My wordpress is mistermanpower.wordpress.com and my blogger is mistermanpower.blogspot.com...feel free to check them out if you are not offended by sexual content. please offer some advice..thanks!

My advice: use your time and skills more productively and be of help to others.

You probably know that the search crawlers are constantly looking for items in your pages, so the more often you can write about whatever they are searching for the more often you will be tapped and the higher your rating will go. It will not happen overnight. If you want to move things along faster, start with a pay per click and go from there.

Hi Rick,

first of all you should not post exactly the same content to both blogs as it is "duplicate content", so you need to re-write one version a bit to make it unique.

second make sure you're using the best permalink structure for SEO purposes and that you have a good ping list set up, there are free videos showing you how to do both of these at:

third make sure you use tags and keywords for your posts. I use the "All in on SEO" plugin for wordpress.org sites, I don't know if you can also use this for free wordpress.com sites though.
