How do I use fonts that I downloaded from a website on a Windows Vista computer?

I mean like fonts used in the Death Note title. I really like those kinds of fonts, something daring and stuff like that. Well I downloaded them and now i don't know where I'm supposed to put it so I can I use it...

  1. its most likely goin to be in a folder called FONTS in the Windows folder in the C drive.

    if you do a copy and paste of the fonts, it should install it. you should see a status screen.


  2. Install them to your Fonts folder.  If they're zipped, unzip them.  Open your Fonts folder (may be in C:\Windows\Fonts) and then click File > Install New Font (I think - I'm not familiar with Vista), then find and select the font or fonts you want, then click OK to install them.

  3. For Windows Vista:

    Search for the font that you downloaded.

    Start > Search......

    If the font file is compressed...right click, select Extract All

    Right click the font file and select Install.
