Question:

How do I use my Vista laptop as a guitar amp?

I already have an adapter to plug in the guitar, and I am using one of my pedals for power.

When I plug in the cables, the input menu opens, and gives me several options on how to set it up. I choose Line-in and no sound comes out. I have tried the other set ups as well, and yet nothing changes.

In the mike setup it doesn't show any sound coming through, either. So is there something I need to do for sound, or does it just not work for me?
