How do I use scanner to get info into computer?

I have a paper in my scanner I would to send to another person by e-mail. How do I get it to go into the computer to send out?

  1. i presume you have software that came with the scanner

    If so start the software

    choose scan

    After

    Save the file to your computer in a location where you can find it later

    Write your email

    Choose Insert file

    and pick the file you just saved

    The file name will link in to the email
