How do I use the roof rack on my Freestar for bikes?

I have a rack on the top of the van and want to transport bikes. How do I do it? Do I require another accessory for the bikes to sit in?

I don't think Ford offers a bike kit for your roof rack, i'd try Thule http://www.thuleracks.com/fg_vehicle.asp or Sears, or J.C. Whitney.

you will need a special rack to put on your roof for that.  there are many different styles.  Check out a larger sporting goods store, or contact your Ford Dealer for options as to what would best work for you.
