How do I use wi-fi to browse the web on the Blackberry 8820 without using AT&T's internet? I have home service

I can connect to my home network but whenever I try to get online, it still uses the Edge/GPRS service. How do I use only wifi internet?

You need to set the default browser to the Wi-Fi browser. I believe you can do that by going to Options > Advanced Options > Browser.
