How do I verify a @verizon.net email address with Yahoo Groups?

I click continue after adding the new address and automatically go to Member Services....where I see no place to verify anything. This is very frustrating, I know I have done this in the past.

the verifying comes to that e-mail address you added. there's a link within that e-mail to click to verify
