I already have a place to stay, I already have transportation, and I've already paid to go there. I need to find a volunteer placement in France like a thrift store or something simple, but I keep getting programs that need applications, money, and are complicated organizations, etc; Is there anywhere like thrift stores, or something simple that is not too confidential?

  1. Sure there are volunteer organizations in France... Oxfam is there and a lot of thrift stores like Petit de la Reine.. you only need to ask around.  Even some of the national monuments will take you if you speak French because they can always use Docents... but... like I said.. ASK AROUND.

  2. I would look at a web site about current events going on in the community you're going to. Look for non-profit orgs and contact them directly. If you just google it, you're going to find a lot of scams.

  3. Try through the Roman Catholic Church.
