Question:

How do I wash my shirt?

I bought this shirt from West 49 and I love it. Anyways it came with a tag that says: ATTENTION: THIS GARMENT HAS BEEN TREATED WITH SPECIALTY DYE TO PROVIDE A VINTAGE LOOK. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE DYEING PROCESS, PLEASE WASH GARMENT SEPARATELY IN COLD WATER BEFORE WEARING TO AVOID COLOUR BLEEDING. I was wondering how I would do that. Could I just avoid the tag and wash it with my other clothes or what because I don't want to ruin my shirt but I find it a waste of water to wash it all by itself. Also do I have to wash it by hand?

  1. Do what it says...if it bleeds on your other laundry you will have a washer full of dyed clothes.

Just wash it by itself ..one load isnt going to kill the environment.

  2. Either follow the directions, or wash it by and, if u wash it w/other clothes they will too be tie dye

  3. Put some cold water in your kitchen sink and wash it in that!

  4. Fill a basin with cold water and put 1 cup of vinagar in the water.  put the shirt in and let soak for  an hour or so, wring it out and rinse in cold water several times
